Where is a safe place to buy silver?

In my opinion, the safest places to buy silver (at a reasonable price, of course) would be any local stores nearby.

However, if there are no stores nearby the next safest places to purchase silver would be either eBay.com or apmex.com. Both of these sites are safe as long as you are smart about dealing with eBay members.

Best of luck in your silver-buying,

How do I take a screen shot?

In a lot of my blog posts you will see me taking screenshots, many people still do not know how to do this so I will quickly walk you through how to…

It is very simple to take a screen shot.

First, have what you want to take a screenshot of open.

Next, press the “PrtScn” button located in the top right corner of your keyboard.

Now, open “Paint” and press “Ctrl + V” to paste your newly-taken screenshot onto Paint.

Next, save it to your pictures and BOOM. You just successfully took a screenshot!

How to Pre Order Diablo 3

Many people have probably heard that there is a new Diablo game coming out. Where is the best place to pre-order the actual game though?

I recently pre-ordered my copy at Amazon.com, you can’t go wrong with Amazon.

This is where I pre-ordered it:

Diablo 3: In game auction house

I normally don’t write about computer games. I was at work the other day and my co-workers were talking about a game called “Diablo 3″, I have heard of the Diablo series but never really was into computer games. Well, I can’t really say that- for a couple years I was pretty addicted to the MMORPG, Runescape. It sucked. Haha, but anyways…

Apparently, Diablo 3 is very similar to WoW, or World of Warcraft- which I am somewhat familiar with. Just like WoW, Diablo has the same publisher, Blizzard Entertainment.

Diablo 3 is scheduled to release sometime in March and after viewing the trailers and gameplay videos on YouTube, I will most likely be purchasing Diablo 3 and see what all the Diablo-Fuss is about. It looks very similar to WoW, in the gameplay action. Obviously it will be a fairly repetitive and “clicky” game, but I am totally fine with that.

The part that really caught my attention was the in-game auction house. What I mean by “in-game auction house”, is that you can actually sell your in-game items for REAL cash (not game gold, I am talking U.S. currency), having other players bid on your rare items right in front of your eyes. This really caught my attention, most other computer games I have seen really frown upon the selling of items for real cash. It seems like Diablo 3 will be the first computer game to ENCOURAGE the selling of in-game items for real money.

I think Diablo 3 will be a great game and I am excited to start playing in hopes of hitting a rare item and selling it for real money!

Is the price of Silver Rising?

YES.

As of today, I am very happy to say that silver seems to be increasing in price over the past few days. Silver in the month of October (2011) has seen a lowest price of about $29 per ounce and right now it is at the highest price it has been all month of nearly $34 per ounce.

Not only is silver increasing lately, it seems that it should only keep increasing from here on out. Silver is at a low right now compared to the past few months. August’s highest price per ounce was $43 and September’s highest price was about the same. October’s highest price is right now at $34 an ounce. In my opinion, Silver should take a jump to over the $40 mark in these next few weeks.

Let’s take a look at the past few month’s charts for silver prices.

Here they are:

This is a promising sign for silver, it reached it’s absolute bottom in price, now hopefully it rises!

I also recently bought another ounce of silver, bringing my collection to 3 ounces and 5 grams.

Is Silver more rare than Gold?

What is the difference between Sterling silver and pure silver?

What’s the difference between Sterling Silver and regular Silver?

You may have heard of “sterling silver”, but what makes it different from pure silver or “regular” silver?

Well, it’s simple…

Sterling silver is often polished and has other shiny metals added to it (often zinc or copper) for a more “shiny” and presentable appearance. Because of the shiny appearance, Sterling silver is often the type of silver that is used for jewelry. Who doesn’t want their jewelry to be shiny??

Sterling silver is usually about 92.5% silver, where pure silver is 100% silver. Because of the fact that sterling silver is only 92.5%, it makes sterling worth a bit less than pure silver.

The price of sterling silver currently is about $28.67 an ounce.

Is Silver more rare than Gold?

Although the price for gold is nearly 44 times more valuable than silver. HOWEVER, did you know that Silver is actually MORE RARE than gold?

Apparently, there are about 5.3 billion ounces of pure gold that still remain undiscovered in the world. The silver market is MUCH less, although there is not an accurate number I am comfortable publishing, I can say that It is under 1 billion ounces of silver.

The gold to silver ratio is 1:40, meaning it takes approximately 40 silver ounces to buy one gold ounce…It makes you really wonder how long a 1:40 ratio for silver and gold will remain… Here’s what I don’t understand…

In the past 50 or so years, Silver has been used up. All of the major stockpiles of silver (over 10 billion ounces) are now GONE. The 10 billion ounces of stockpiles ARE GONE…

If silver is more rare than gold…How can the average man still afford to buy silver? I mean, silver is only $30 an ounce, I just think you would be stupid NOT to buy silver. I don’t see silver EVER dropping below the $30 mark, which is why I am confident to say that it will only rise from here. Silver is a depleting market and now is the time to buy.

So don’t be a fool, buy silver while you still can!!!!

Why online surveys are a SCAM

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I hate online survey sites. At one point last year, I tried to make money taking surveys online…I failed. All these B.S. sites out there are promising $75 per survey or $100 an hour, are all BOGUS.

I was a member of several get paid to take survey sites and I barely made a dime for the hours of my time that I put into taking these surveys and registering. It is so frustrating because these sites make you “qualify” before you actually get paid for taking the survey. I don’t think I ever qualified on an online survey.

Let me walk you through what it is like to take a survey online and why it sucks…

I am a member of this site, called OneOpinion.com… They promise a $25 minimum cashout via pre-paid debit card- sounds cool? So let’s take a survey shall we?

Alright, right when I logged in you can notice that my account is already credited with $14…However, I noticed that now I must be qualified for their surveys, which is nearly impossible. Before, all they did was ask me a few simple questions and BAM, I was credited with a buck. Now I noticed that the surveys aren’t even on oneopinion.com, they now redirect me to some random site that is now impossible to qualify for their surveys.

Now let’s see what happens…. Oh, what do you know, looks like I “qualify” for a survey….suuuure.

Now, I am redirected to some random site…Now I am going to answer a bunch of questions…

I answered 3 pages of these kinds of questions, and guess what?! I DIDN’T QUALIFY!

This is why taking online surveys for money SUCKS.

Don’t waste your time with oneopinion.com or online surveys. You will not make any money and you will waste your time.
