What is Rhodium? How much is Rhodium worth?

Did you know that there is a precious metal worth MORE than gold?

Yep, it’s called Rhodium. (Ro-Dee-Um)

Rhodium is currently priced at $1,725 per ounce. (at the time of this article)

At one point in 2008, Rhodium spiked to over $10,000 an ounce…

Personally, I had no idea what Rhodium was until I began to invest in silver. I heard about Rhodium while browsing the web and couldn’t believe that I hadn’t heard of it sooner.

What is it used for?

Rhodium is used to harden platinum and palladium. Rhodium is also used as an electrical contact material because it has such a low electrical resistance and it is very hard for it to corrode. Lastly, it is common to see Rhodium in car converters and used in jewelry such as rings and necklaces- the jewelry is usually only plated in Rhodium, however.

As far as investing goes, I have already boarded the silver bandwagon and simply cannot afford to invest in Rhodium. Although it is at a “low” price right now at $1725 an ounce… it far too rich for my blood.

Well, recently I joined another GPT site. Although I am not a very big fan of GPT (get paid to) websites, I kind of like this one.

What really drew me to using this website was their VERY low cashout of only $1 (instant payments via paypal).

Yadda yadda, filling out B.S. surveys about random crappy products and confirming emails…20 minutes later I cashed out

Here’s the proof for all you non-believers…

I made $1.07 in 20 minutes using the internet!!!!! Giving me an OUTSTANDING hourly wage of $3.21. (I am being sarcastic if you cannot tell)

The only 2 GPT sites I am very familiar with are Cashcrate.com and Paidthefastest.com…

So let’s see…Cashcrate.com takes 3+ weeks to pay with a minimum cashout of $20….Paidthefastest.com has a $1 minimum cashout and pays instantly…Hmmmmmm….

Although I am STILL not a huge fan of GPT sites, It is nice to see that there is an honest website that actually pays people the money they “work” for in a timely manner. Paidthefastest.com is a  neat site though, It’s just not a GREAT way to make money.

Flipping Silver for Profit

I don’t know about you guys, but with silver expected to reach $50 an ounce by the end of the year, it’s hard for me to not invest.

Here’s a little more detail about how I plan to flip silver for profit…

I decided to myself that each payday I am going to buy 2 ounces of pure silver (a little over $65 at the moment). Hopefully, silver reaches it’s expected end-of-the-year price (over $50 an ounce) If silver does in fact reach it’s projected price, many people will make a KILLER.

Let’s do some simple math…If i buy 20 ounces right now…

20 x current silver prices ($31.80 per ounce at the time of this blog post) = $636 invested + paying over the spot price, so lets round up to a total of $650.

NOW. If silver was to actually reach it’s projected price of over $50 an ounce by the end of December, I would make a nice little profit…

20 x $50= $1000- $636= $364 profit in a few months of doing hardly any work…Not bad huh? This is why flipping ROCKS!

Silver in my opinion is a VERY safe investment at the moment. Since I make minimum wage, I am very careful about what I spend my money on and I just feel like it is a smart decision for me to invest some of my money into silver.

This depends, if a buyer really likes your hair you could see around $2000, but typically you will make more around the $500 area.

It just wasn’t really worth my time for only a couple bucks an hour. However, being a Cha Cha guide is a great way for teens, unemployed people, and BORED people to make a few extra bucks a month.

Selling wine corks for money

Wow who knew. Wine corks sell.

500 wine corks just sold for $34. 

Yeah I know it’s not the kind of money that is going to pay your bills but…

This got me thinking, what if you asked all your friends and local restaurants to save their wine corks for you. If you saved up say…10,000 wine corks…(seems like a lot but popular restaurants go through TONS of wine) in one year, this would be equivalent to $600.

May be a fun way for kids or young teens to make a little extra cash.

What is PPC?

During your online money journey’s, you may have ran into the term “PPC”- or maybe you have seen an ad somewhere saying “MAKE $3000 a month with this new PPC site!”. For the most part, making money with PPC, is B.S.

PPC simply means, “pay per click”.

PPC (or CPC, cost per click), is a type of advertising that has basically flooded the whole, “make money online” part of the internet. Companies use pay per click advertising in an attempt to drive valuable traffic to their site. The advertisers site, usually offers a product of some sort that they want you to buy, therefor it pretty much becomes a money funnel. The advertisers then must pay the website owner (or publisher of the ads), every time their link is clicked on.

You may have heard of Neobux, as I wrote an article about it last month. Neobux is the most popular PPC site at the moment, they make their money each time a viewer clicks on a PPC link. They offer members, $.001 each time they view a link.

It is a basically a big chain, I will try to attempt to explain the chain with this picture.

It is a bit complicated. But neobux will always come out on top. They are most likely paid 10 times more by the advertisers, than what they pay their members to just VIEW it.

There are many neobux wannabe sites out there, In my opinion I would stay away from PPC in all shapes and forms.
